Please refer to this help page for more information about deploying and using the plug-ins. For information on the specific browsers supported by the server, please consult the Web Browsers section on this page.
Accessibility: This product is not fully compliant with US Section 508 requirements.
Use the following registry settings to enable or disable the Sync node for a deployment or to manage the behavior when a site presents an untrusted certificate. Enter the value as a string. For example, enter "1" rather than 1.
HKLM/SOFTWARE/IBM (on 32-bit)
HKLM/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/IBM (on 64-bit)
Default - null
0 – Sync Enabled for servers
1 – Sync Disabled for servers
Controls whether user is able to use sync. When sync is disabled, users will not get a local sync folder in Windows Explorer.
Note: Setting the registry value does not disable sync for sites which were already syncing when the registry value was set. Sync will be disabled for these sites once they either stop using sync or disconnect from the site.
0 – allow untrusted certificates (Default)
1 – block untrusted certificates
When FailInvalidCert is set to 0, the user is warned that the certificate is invalid or incorrect but user can choose to accept the certificate. When FailInvalidCert is set to 1, it will block untrusted certificates. An error message informs users that the certificate is invalid or incorrect.

Trash view for CCM, allowing users to recover deleted CCM files. Note: This new feature is not enabled by default. To enable this feature you must set the "Enable CCM Library Trash" preference documented here. This feature only applies IBM Connections on premise deployments, due to CCM only being available on premise.
Support for application links. When this feature is enabled, the "Copy application link" menu item appears in the right-click context menu of a file. An application link can then be copied to the clipboard for use later. Clicking an application link on a Windows desktop downloads and opens the file (the same action as double-clicking on this file in Windows Explorer), using the ibmcsp:// protocol. An application link can be used as an alternative to a standard URL link for accessing a file when the Desktop plugin has been installed. Note: This new feature is not enabled by default. To enable this feature you must set the "EnableSmartLinks" preference documented here.
Use feeds to stay up-to-date with information in the IBM Collaboration Solutions Catalog. Feeds pull data from one Web site into another. A feed is a regularly updated summary of Web content, along with links to full versions of that content. When you subscribe to a given Web site's feed by using a feed reader, you receive a summary of new content from that Web site.
Validation helps differentiate your offering by conferring a Ready for Social Business mark that you can use in the packaging and marketing materials of your qualified offerings to help demonstrate that your solution has met IBM integration standards.
