The TrustVault gadgets connect to TrustVault to extract analytics of reputable email communication from within a company’s mail flow. Integrating the status, cadence and direction of communication into the IBM Connections interface provides details of your organizations relationships with your partners and customers.
TrustVault integrates with the existing mail infrastructure either by a direct plug-in or by extracting data from log files. Data extracted from the mail infrastructure is transmitted securely to the TrustVault service and is used to build a detailed relationship map for your organization. In addition, a small amount of e-mail metadata is held for each message; a timestamp, sender, recipient, message size and subject line. TrustVault runs as a cloud service, or can be installed on premise for large organizations.
The gadgets available in IBM Connections use a secure API to query and extract relevant data from TrustVault. This relationship information can then be visually navigated and manipulated in the TrustView solution.

The contact finder gadget allows quick discovery of who within an organization has been in communication with a client simply by entering their email address, for example, from a business card. This can be used to provide useful background information before meeting with a new customer – knowing who in your organization has already been in communication with the customer enables you to enter the meeting armed with all necessary data.
For teams in regular communication with a set of clients, it can be extremely useful to have a view on the communications that have happened recently with a client. For those managing customer projects, this gives assurance that their team are in reasonable contact with the client. For those working on the projects, it provides a useful memory jogger and also a warning flag; should someone else start communicating with their client, perhaps outside the project scope.
The client activity gadget works by querying TrustVault for relationships that have been active within the last seven days, for all users in your organization. In addition the results are linked to TrustView enabling a visual representation of the relationship map between contacts and also the ability to explore the recent message history.
The widgets are able to link to the TrustView application, showing data in a graphical format and allowing more sophisticated analysis. Please see www.trustsphere.com for more information on the TrustView product.
